Bank Neo Commerce Posts Rp464 Billion in Profit in Q3 2025, a 100-fold Increase

INFOBANK, Jakarta – PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk (BNC) closed the third quarter of 2025 with solid performance. As of September 2025, BNC had posted a net profit of Rp464 billion, a more than 100-fold increase compared to the Rp406 billion recorded in the previous year.

President Director PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk, Eri Budiono, stated that these results demonstrate the effectiveness of BNC’s strategy in maintaining profitability momentum and disciplined operational management of the bank.

“This third-quarter achievement demonstrates the effectiveness of our strategy in intelligently managing growth and generating sustainable profits. Our focus is on strengthening competitiveness through efficiency, disciplined risk management, and digital innovation relevant to customer needs,” said Eri in an official statement quoted on October 31, 2025.

He detailed that the profit growth in the third quarter of 2025 was supported by BNC’s sharply increased profitability compared to the same period last year. Return on Assets (ROA) increased to 3.45 percent in September 2025, compared to 0.03 percent in September 2024.

Meanwhile, Eri said, Return on Equity (ROE) also increased significantly to 16.96 percent in September 2025, significantly above the 0.16 percent recorded in the same period last year.

Asset Quality Improves

Credit disbursement was recorded at Rp7.49 trillion as of September 2025, a 19.1 percent decrease compared to Rp9.26 trillion in the same period in 2024. Nevertheless, BNC recorded significant improvements in asset quality. The gross non-performing loan (NPL) ratio decreased from 3.72 percent in September 2024 to 2.92 percent at the end of the third quarter of 2025. Net NPL also decreased from 0.99 percent to 0.23 percent.

“This decline demonstrates the success of implementing appropriate and selective risk management based on debtor quality,” said Eri.

Eri continued, explaining that in its credit growth strategy, the Bank is targeting credit distribution through increased exposure with channeling partners, Neo Loan, and the launch of loan products and the addition of new partners.

“Credit through the Neo Loan product has grown by 139 percent year-on-year,” he added.

Meanwhile, in terms of funding, third-party funds (TPF) were recorded stable at Rp13.62 trillion at the end of the third quarter of 2025, not much different from Rp13.64 trillion in September 2024. On a quarterly basis, TPF grew 2.2 percent compared to Rp13.33 trillion in June 2025.

The bank’s core capital increased 15.5 percent to Rp3.94 trillion, while equity grew 13.5 percent to Rp4.13 trillion. The capital adequacy ratio (CAR) remained very strong at 46.73 percent, up from 34.18 percent the previous year.

Maintained Operational Efficiency and Profitability

Operational efficiency ratios reflect management’s success in controlling costs. Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO) improved to 82.81 percent at the end of the third quarter of 2025 from 99.88 percent the previous year, while the Cost to Income Ratio (CIR) decreased to 31.59 percent from 33.47 percent.

Meanwhile, the Net Interest Margin (NIM) stood at 14.81 percent, consistently maintaining margins with a controlled financing strategy. The Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) reached 54.99 percent in September 2025, up from 65.48 percent the previous year, demonstrating sufficient liquidity to support future asset growth.

Closing the third quarter of 2025, BNC recorded stable total assets of Rp18.43 trillion as of September 2025, nearly equivalent to Rp18.46 trillion the previous year.

Boosting Digital Services

BNC continues to expand its digital banking services, developing new products to meet customers’ financial needs, and adding new partners to support quality asset growth.

Most recently, BNC launched the Neo Green Savings product, a savings product that facilitates its customers’ participation in environmental conservation. Through this savings product, a portion of the interest earned by customers on their savings will be channeled to support environmental conservation programs.

“Digitalization enables banks to operate more efficiently and measurably. We continue to strive to find the right formula to boost profitability and asset growth going forward,” Eri concluded.
